Three tools, each doing one job. Nothing here is used to build an advertising profile of you, and nothing is sold on.

Google Analytics

Tells us which adverts and search results bring people to this page, so we are not guessing where to spend.

If you accept
Sets cookies (names beginning _ga) to recognise a returning browser.
If you decline
The tag still runs, but with all storage denied under Google's consent mode — no cookies are written and no identifier is kept. Google receives an anonymous ping only.

Microsoft Clarity

Records how this page is used — where people scroll, click and get stuck — so we can fix the parts that confuse them.

If you accept
Sets cookies (names beginning _clck and _clsk) and records your session on this page.
If you decline
Does not load at all. No script, no request, no cookie.

PostHog

PostHog, hosted in the EU

Shows us how the product itself is used, and which parts of this page lead to someone getting in touch.

If you accept
Sets cookies (names beginning ph_) so a return visit is recognised as the same person.
If you decline
Switches to cookieless mode: nothing is stored on your device, and you are counted using a hash calculated on PostHog's servers that changes daily.

Stored in your browser under the name sf-consent-v1, either way. Without it we would have to ask you again on every page.

Where these do not run

  • The staff portal. Bank details, UTRs and National Insurance numbers are shown there, so no session recorder and no click-text capture is loaded on any of it.
  • The forms subcontractors fill in from an emailed link. None of these tools run on those pages at all.
  • The sign-in screen.

Changing your mind

You can change this at any time, and it takes effect immediately. Declining after accepting also clears what was stored.
