Subcontractor Insurance Tracking, Without The Chasing.
SubbyFlow records every subcontractor's public and employers' liability insurance, with the insurer, the policy and the limits of indemnity, and chases each renewal before the cover lapses.

Ask by trade
Set which insurances each trade has to hold. They're requested automatically.
They upload it
From a link on their phone: the certificate, the insurer, the policy number and the cover.
You check it
Review the cover against what your contract asks for, then approve.
Renewals are chased
A link to upload the new certificate goes out 30 days before expiry. You hear at 7 days if it hasn't arrived.
You hear about it before site does.
An expiring policy lands in your notifications alongside everything else you've chosen to hear about, while there's still time to chase it.
Insurance sits with the rest of the subcontractor's documents, so a lapsed policy shows as a gap in their compliance, not a line in a spreadsheet.

Questions.
What insurance should subcontractors have?
Most main contractors ask for public liability and employers' liability insurance. Employers' liability is a legal requirement for most businesses with employees, with a minimum of £5 million. Public liability isn't required by law, but nearly every contract asks for it. You decide what each trade has to hold.
Does SubbyFlow check the policy with the insurer?
No. It records the insurer, policy number, limits and expiry date that come with the certificate, and keeps the certificate itself, so you can check the cover against your contract and contact the insurer if you need to.
What happens when a policy is about to expire?
By default, 30 days before the expiry date the subcontractor is sent a link to upload the renewal and your team is told. At 7 days it's sent again, marked urgent. You can change the warning period.
Do subcontractors need an account?
No. Every request is a one-time link to a form that works on a phone, so renewals come back without anyone resetting a password.
Can it track other documents too?
Yes. Insurance is one document type among many: CSCS cards for each operative, trade registrations, DBS certificates and policies are tracked the same way.
